JEDDAH, 9 March 2004 — A report by the Monetary Consultancy Company confirmed that commerce/trade activities in Saudi Arabia increased last year by 30 percent. The report also showed that the real estate investments sector witnessed a healthy revival in the same period. The report attributed the encouraging developments to the return of money after 9/11 as well as to efforts by the Public Committee for Investment to eliminate obstacles facing investors and to increased oil prices.
