Sun Microsystems Middle East & North Africa (MENA) has signed an agreement with New Horizons Computer Learning Centers to design, develop and enhance training solutions for Sun’s customers as part of Sun Educational Services within a 12-country region spanning the Gulf, Levant and North Africa markets.
Following a detailed and thorough selection process, Sun appointed New Horizons to provide an extensive training curriculum based on Sun Educational Services’ product portfolio. As part of the agreement, New Horizons has been certified as an “Authorized Sun Education Center — Service Provider.”
New Horizons was recognized by IDC as the No. 1 training provider within the MENA region in 2002. Currently, New Horizons boasts 21 training centers across 12 countries in the Middle East.
End-users in the region are set to benefit from the alliance by enjoying access to a wide-ranging training program throughout MENA and, more specifically, within the fastest growing segments of the technology sector, including software development, implementation services, and data protection and management. New Horizons will deliver high quality training through its Sun instructor-led program, enabling regional organizations to rapidly grasp the business benefits of rapidly changing technologies.
