ABHA, 15 March 2004 — A rise in break-ins in the industrial neighborhood here has prompted residents to think of novel ways of protecting their property. Many of the buildings now bear inscriptions such as, “There is nothing in the house, don’t bother to look inside.” Another note reads, “If you insist on stealing from my house, at least do not break my windows.”
