JEDDAH, 15 March 2004 — An organization has appealed to students and parents to donate old textbooks of International Indian School for their distribution among underprivileged students. Last year, it distributed more than 8,000 textbooks “We hope to distribute them before the next academic year begins,” Arif Quraishi, president of Indian Cultural Society, Jeddah, said yesterday. Textbook collection centers are at Shadab, Nayab, AM PM, Chennai and Anmol restaurants in Aziziah, and Al-Ryan Polyclinic (Sharafiah), Sameera Polyclinic (Aziziah) and MTC Packers and Movers at Amir Majed Road.
