JEDDAH, 15 March 2004 — Work on a major exhibition center will start in Riyadh soon. Abdul Rahman Al-Jeraisy, chairman of the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the director general of the Al-Yamamah Trading & Contracting Company signed a SR134 million contract yesterday to build the new Prince Salman Exhibitions City. The new exhibition center will cover an area of 193,000 square meters on Prince Abdullah Road. The project includes a conference hall, which can accommodate 1,000 people including 200 women. The Prince Salman City will be capable of organizing a number of exhibitions at the same time.
