KUWAIT CITY, 15 March 2004 — Kuwaiti authorities said yesterday they had arrested two Saudis trying to smuggle 350 kilograms of hashish into the emirate from Iraq via a border point used by US-led coalition troops. An Interior Ministry statement said the two were caught red handed and also had two loaded guns and some pills. The drugs were found hidden in three tires after a tip-off from an informer who had made a deal to buy 30 kilograms of the drug from the two men, the statement said.
