ASIR, 21 March 2004 — The imam of a mosque in Asir, Ahmad Al-Hushan, is suing Al-Jazirah over a documentary made by western reporters. The reporters filmed the mosque and described it as a base for terrorism. The program ruined the mosque’s reputation when the reporters said that four of the 9/11 suspects regularly attended prayers at the mosque.
