RIYADH, 22 March 2004 — Prince Sultan, second deputy premier and minister of defense and aviation, has denied a report published by Al-Madinah Arabic daily yesterday about plans for a new curriculum. Neither the curriculum development committee he chairs nor any official source has released news of the plans, the Saudi Press Agency said. The prince said plans for a new curriculum were currently being subjected to careful scrutiny by Islamic scholars and other experts.
