JEDDAH, 22 March 2004 — Associations for teachers, lawyers, media producers and children could be added to the new independent bodies being established in the Kingdom, according to a local news report. Sources told Al-Madinah newspaper that ministries and the private sector have begun studying prospects of setting up associations and electing their officials to encourage popular participation in society.
