RIYADH, 24 March 2004 — A young child in elementary school tried to convince his schoolmates that his mother gave birth to a beautiful sister. Children insisted that he was lying. The next day, he took his one-month-old sister in his school bag and walked to the school. He showed the baby to his friends. Teachers were shocked and did not believe that there was an infant in the school. The school principal took the baby and the boy back home to the frightened mother. This was the first infant visit to the school according to the school principal.
