YANBU, 26 March 2004 — A Yanbu middle school student was finally caught for his misdeeds. His crime was to hang around mosques and steal shoes while the people were inside at prayer. He was finally caught by the school principal who recognized the student’s shoes as an expensive pair stolen the day before outside a local mosque. The student admitted to the theft and gave the principal the shoes. He was made to walk barefoot in front of other students and promise not to do it again.
