KUWAIT, 27 March 2004 — An unidentified assailant lobbed a petrol bomb into the grounds of the Egyptian Consulate in Kuwait City, but no casualties or serious damage were reported, newspapers said yesterday. The attacker, who was in a black vehicle, fled the scene. The mission’s security personnel were able quickly to put out a fire caused by the bomb.
