HP has signed a contract with the General Organization for Technical Education and Vocational Training (GOTEVOT). The agreement entails that HP and its local partners, Jeraisy and Nahil Computer Company, provide, implement and manage a fully integrated HP solutions portfolio in 150 student labs across the nation.
“As part of HP’s ongoing commitment to education, we are working closely with our local partners at the production plant in the Kingdom to provide custom-made solutions to GOTEVOT,” said Christoph Schell, GM, HP Personal Systems Group (PSG) Middle East. “We are confident that our local know-how, technically superior service centers and dedication to hands-on reliable computing solutions will proliferate into excellent results across the region for the six-month implementation period.”
HP will be deploying 6,000 HP Compaq d330 units and 2,000 HP Compaq d230 units as well as 200 of the latest imaging and printing solutions including all-in-one scanners. The project was won against strong competition from several other multinational vendors.
