BHOPAL, 31 March 2004 — While communal strife between Hindus and Muslims is a common sight in India in the present era but a shinning example of communal amity was on display when five Muslim snake charmers were dispatched from Bhopal to Ujjain to work closely along with the Hindu priests at the venue of upcoming month-long fair to keep the slippery reptiles away. The group of four snake charmers will be there at the services of the sadhus. The group led by Hakim Babu Bhai will have a lady also along with them to cater to the needs of any Hindu ladies if bitten by a snake.
