RIYADH, 9 April 2004 — The Unity Al Rajhi Summer Cup 2004 Cricket Tournament will start next Friday, at the Al Kadi grounds behind Saudi Fisheries Port Road in Dammam.
This was announced in a joint press release issued by Masters Cricket Club and Unity Al Rajhi International Clinic which will collaborate in the staging of the tournament.
The tournament details were finalized at a meeting held at the Al Rajhi Clinic in Alkhobar, according to coordinator Thaju Ayyaril.
“This event will be a great experience for all the teams and we are planning to introduce special awards to the finalists,” said Ajmal, CEO of Al Rajhi Int’l Clinic who presided over the meeting.
Sixteen major teams from the Eastern Province have entered in the 16-over-a-side tournament, according to Sharafudheen (Babu), Masters Cricket Club secretary.
