RIYADH, 9 April 2004 — In the keenly contested SkyFreight Forwarders/Kabayan Hotel Thursday Inter-Commercial Bowling League, the RJ Bowlers and Yuli Braganza displayed separate awesome performances to share bowling spotlight in the 4th week of the competition at the Saudi Fal Bowling Center.
The RJ Bowlers snatched the coveted team of the week award when they snatched 15 points against Kamandag 2 team of Boy Fogata. Joey Maningas posted a four game series of 767 (172, 223, 203, 169). Rey Lansang and the promising Mario Rivera together with Roger Bautista shared a separate series of 664, 653 and 639. Jess Cuavas added a series of 595.
Tops coring in the Kamandag team with a blind player was Ave Tena with 730 series. The duo of Rey Mendoza and Fred Dilapdilap toppled a separate series of 663 and 659. Pol Lobo collected a series of 591.
The league leaders, the Pangasinan Strikers with a blind bowler in their line-up routed the Perfect 100 (10-8) with bowler of the week awardee, Yuli Braganza who posted a four game series of 820. Braganza had on lines of 212, 247, 184 and 177. League chairman, Jojo Demetrio shot a series of 747 with Dan Castro(684), followed by Buddy Balisi (509). Ric Urrutia had 338 series in two games. Gigi Enriquez led in the Perfect 100 by compiling a series of 710 in fourgames. Jasper Durago and Eymard Dimayuga rolled a separate series of 673 and 658.
Team captain Willy Nogoy scored 650 points and Rene Tanglao had a series of 642. The Perfect 100 registered overall total team output of 3,477 points.
