SINGAPORE, 10 April 2004 — Dubai-based Emirates Airlines is building a new passenger lounge and offices at Changi Airport while studying new routes stopping in Singapore, a spokesman said in a published report yesterday. “Out of Dubai, Emirates flies more often to Changi than any other airport in the region,” Stephen Chu, the carrier’s area manager, told The Straits Times.
