BURAIDAH, 14 April 2004 — Two girls were expelled from the university because they tried to take pictures of students with their cell phone cameras, Al-Youm reported. The two girls took pictures of other female students in order to publish them on the Internet. The girls’ families were said to be angry when they learned of the incident and realized the university lacked a security system for detecting cell phone cameras.
