RIYADH, 19 April 2004 — Taiwan is offering three scholarships to Saudis for a two-year course in Chinese culture and language.
Sheng-Tsung Yang, the representative of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office in Riyadh, said eligible Saudi students could apply for the scholarship through his mission.
Two of the scholarships are for undergraduates and worth $690 a month on top of free board and lodging while one postgraduate scholarship is worth $900.
