US Robotics (USR) has recognized the Middle East Region as the Best Region for its overall performance in 2003 compared to other regions of the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
“In 2003, US Robotics enjoyed a fantastic performance with overall profitable sales growth in total revenue and revenue growth in all product lines. These results are indicative of how important having a reliable Internet connection at home and in the office has become for the Middle East,” said Yusuf Syed, USR ME regional sales manager. “We are dealing with a sophisticated technology market here which is showing great interest in new products and developments.”
USR announced year-end sales results for the Middle East with a revenue increase of 41 percent in the region compared to 2002. Its wireless networking and high-speed DSL products have been a key contributor to this growth in the Middle East.
