JEDDAH, 4 May 2004 — Prince Sultan, second deputy premier and minister of defense and aviation, yesterday underwent an operation to remove an intestinal polyp, the royal court announced.
The operation at the King Fahd Military Hospital in Jeddah was a success, said the statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency.
Crown Prince Abdullah, deputy premier and commander of the National Guard, yesterday visited Prince Sultan at the hospital.
