JIZAN, 10 May 2004 — People were shocked to see a snake in a mosque during Asr prayer. The snake appeared in the middle of the Asr prayer. All the men in the mosque froze, watching the snake move back and forth. Some men near the snake did not kneel because they kept their eyes on the snake. When the prayer was finished, one of the men used a wooden stick and killed the unwelcome invader.
