JEDDAH, 10 May 2004 — The Interior Ministry said yesterday it had extradited 14 Yemenis arrested in the Kingdom for security reasons.
The 14 were handed over in the context of Saudi-Yemeni cooperation, the Saudi Press Agency reported, quoting a ministry source.
A Saudi who was detained by Yemeni authorities was also handed over to the Kingdom, the source said.
The Kingdom and Yemen have recently been swapping fugitives under an extradition agreement.
