JEDDAH, 13 May 2004 — At a traffic light, an apparently handicapped beggar was begging for money, Al-Watan reported. When members of the Anti-Beggary Squad came to arrest him, he made a sudden improvement and ran away with great speed. Chasing him on foot, the squad members soon gave up and continued the chase by car. They later cornered the beggar in a narrow street and arrested him.
