RIYADH, 14 May 2004 — Ara Bowlers landed their first Team of the Week plum during the 14th session of the United Electronics Co. (EXTRA) Tuesday Night Bowling League 4th Conference here. Ara Bowlers walloped Snap Shots 4 24-11 on total pinfalls of 3,198 and 3,032.

RBC Patriots were never a factor although they topped the individual race when Arnel Gordovez emerged Bowler of the Week after hitting the high series of 835 on games of 198, 198, 171, 168 and 100 handicap.

The Patriots sent Top Gun crashing back to earth with a 22-16 triumph in their four-game match on total pinfalls of 3,214 and 3,165.

ABV RG posted a lopsided 21-8 victory over Xtreme OPS on total pinfalls of 3,104-2,796. Triple "R" beat KIA's Pride 18-10 (3,061-2,968), Blue Blood won by a similar 18-10 scoreline over Starstrucks (3,006-2,903) and Untouch-A-Bowl carded 22 points and total pinfalls of 3,093 as the unmatched team in action in the four-man team league event sponsored by United Electronics Co. through assistant marketing manager Ammar Issa.

In a three-pronged Ara attack Cas Encila, Rod Tagaban and Freddie Aquino shot 832, 829 and 827 that effectively put Snap Shots 4 to shade.

Ara also drew two-game contributions of 412 and 298 from Saud Egil and Ben Mendoza respectively.

Other than Gordovez, the Patriots's output was built by Mar Viloria with 811, Fhel Ramos with 791and Ely Fanugao with 777. ABV RG were led chiefly by the duo of Nestor Tercio (794) and Henry Pablo (774).
