RIYADH, 14 May 2004 — Arnaldo Cajote and Edwin Malana piloted the Arabian Homes and Security Forces Hospital teams to their 5th win while Roy Delos Santos guided the Actimel-Al Safi team to their first win in the Jeraisy Group Inter-Company (Bonafide) Basketball Tournament taking place at the Jeraisy Staff Compound Basketball Court, Exit 7 Riyadh.

Arabian Homes' and Samama Co. exchanged a quick 2 points as the former led the first canto 23-14. Chris Castillo punched a quick shot plus a bonus shot and Mon Cano hit another 3-point shot narrowing the lead to 8 points. Samama was scoreless for 3 minutes during the 3rd canto opening the door for Arabian Homes' trio Ding Sotelo, Arnaldo Cajote and Alfredo Granaderos to widen the gap with support from Carlo Guerrero, Randy Simon, Anthony Bernalte, Tristan Cartel and Chris Mabasa. For Samama, Rodel Dungan, Mohd Yousuf, Ramon Cano, Chris Castillo and Louie Cresini along with Sandy Fugaban and Chrysler Pamisa played their hearts out but were defeated by 30 points, 92-62.

Roy Delos Santos and Samer Al-Qaissi with valuable assistance from Chris Sanchez, Edward Pingol and playing Coach Henry Dumalaon to take hold of their first win at the expense of the host team Jeraisy, 72-57. Actimel closed the first quarter with a 17 points margin but Jeraisy's Rino Tolentino, Arthur Aquino, Khaled Hammouri, Rey Valencia and Roy Digo had a 6-0 blast when Actimel was scoreless for 3 minutes. Though Delos Santos and Al-Qaissi exchanged baskets and there conversions made by Erik Bombio, Allan Casapao, Lito Roxas, Lito De Dios and Alex Cerro it failed to highlight a third win.

Edwin Malana of the Security Forces Hospital team surprised the crowd by leading his team during their encounter with the Jeraisy team where the former prevailed, 99-67. Jeraisy took control of the first quarter with Lito De Dios hitting consecutive triples receiving support from Rino Tolentino, Arthur Aquino, Rey Valencia and Roy Digo. But the Security Forces Hospital cagers were paced by Sherwin Manalo, Rex Santos and Oliver Pring while Floro Delgado, Zernan Salampong, Gary Gomez, Allan Macale and Rey Coronado were unstoppable as the winners won by a 32 points margin.
