JEDDAH, 25 October 2004 — The National Commercial Bank (NCB) has signed an SR800 million contract with the United Company for Installments supporting installment payments for cars. It is the largest deal of its kind in the Kingdom. Abdulhadi A. Shayif, general manager of the NCB, signed the agreement with Dr. Sa’ad Al-Ghamdi, deputy vice president of the Abdullatif Jameel Company Limited. Shayif said the bank, in compliance with the contract, would offer financial support for the company. He also expressed hope that this financing would contribute to the forward movement of the national economy In this context, the director of the corporate sector at the NCB, Abdul Rahman Addas, said that the NCB played a key role in leading the financing process for major business institutions in the Saudi market.
