JEDDAH, 29 October 2004 — Eight teams are participating in the ongoing Power Horse football tournament for journalists. Participants include ART, Al- Riyadh, Arriyadiyah and Al-Madinah in Group A while Al-Watan, Al-Eqtisadiah, Al-Qemah and Alam Alriadah are in Group B.
Power Horse, which is sponsoring this event, announced that the winner will get SR6,000 and gold medals while the runner-up will be awarded SR3,000 and silver medals.
Three teams are participating from the Saudi Research and Publishing Company. Arriyadiah started badly in the tournament after losing the opening match against Madinah 4-1. The team managed to draw the second match against Al- Riyadh 1-1 and won the last match against ART 4-1 to qualify for the next round.
