JEDDAH, 2 November 2004 — Local favorites Al-Ittihad will face Shaab Eb of Yemen in the first round of the Arab Champions League today. The match will be held at Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Stadium here.

Ittihad, considered one of the best teams in Saudi Arabia, will have an advantage of home crowd.

Ittihad are expected to play with full strength, but in a likelihood it would be an easy game for them. Shaab Eb do not boast the same credentials as Ittihad.

In a related development, the organizers of the Arab Champions League will meet here on Nov. 5-6 to draw up the fixtures. All teams are divided into four groups. Each group comprises four teams.
