WASHINGTON, 6 November 2004 — The United States yesterday rescinded a week-old alert warning of possible terrorist attacks on major hotels in the Qatari capital of Doha.
The State Department, through the US Embassy in Doha, said it no longer had reason to fear such strikes and praised Qatari authorities for responding quickly to the threat which it had publicized on Oct. 29.
