CAIRO, 23 November 2004 — After her recent successes in the series “Mahmoud Al-Masri” (Mahmoud, The Egyptian) with Mahmoud Abdul Aziz as well as in “Leka Al Hawa” (Interview on Air) with Yousra, Egyptian actress Somayya Khashab has begun work in two other TV serials; the first is “Meshaw Bundok” (Bundok’s Journey) with Farouq Al-Feshawi, Ahmad Bdeer and Sawsan Badr.
Filming will begin in early December and it deals with social and economic changes in Egypt in the early 1950s.
The second serials is “Hayati Inta” (You Are My Life) with Hassan Husni and Fadya Abdul Ghani. It deals with the wife of a famous TV announcer who has many female fans which makes his wife jealous.
