JIZAN, 24 November 2004 — A Jizan court issued a decision to fine a young Saudi SR 7,000 for breaking the teeth of an expatriate worker, Al-Madinah reported. The problem started when both the Saudi man and a foreign worker engaged in an argument and the Saudi man punched the foreign worker in the face breaking one of his teeth. The judge in the local court issued a decision to fine the Saudi man SR 7,000 in favor for the worker. The family of the Saudi man did not have any choice but to pay the man. Despite the pain in his mouth, the worker was extremely happy that justice was done and with SR 7,000 in his wallet.
