KUWAIT, 25 November 2004 — Hashim Muhammad, executive manager of the production institution for joint programs, Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) announced that the cartoon film “Ibn Al-Ghaba” (Jungle Boy) is ready for presentation. The filming of the episodes is complete and final arrangements made.
This cartoon movie is considered the first Gulf cartoon of international standards. The script of this movie is taken from old Arab literature “Hai bin Yaktan” (Bin Yakta Neighborhood) by the author Ibn Tufail.
The events of this movie are unique and written in an educational way to apply to children. Children will learn many positive things. The cartoon will talk about relationships between animals, humans and nature. A group of actors traveled to Budapest to finish the work and it includes voices of Ghanim Al-Sulati, Sana Younis, Fatheya Ibraheem and other actors.
