MULAIJA, 28 November 2004 ­— In unusual circumstances, a “kernas” falcon ate a “shaheen” falcon, Okaz reported. The owner of both falcons was shocked when he saw one of them eating the other. The owner was not feeding the kernas falcon as part of its training in hunting skills. The hungry falcon had no other way of satisfying its hunger but by attacking and eating the other falcon which, according to the owner, is a very rare occurrence.
