RIYADH, 29 November 2004 — The Embassy of India will organize the annual mushaira (poetry session) at the International Indian School, Riyadh (Girls Section Auditorium), at 8 p.m. on Dec. 9. The program is for the Indian community and invitation cards are available for free, according to T.N. Anantha Krishna, spokesman for the embassy. Those interested should fax their names and valid iqama numbers with phone numbers to the embassy at 01-4884713 or mail to [email protected] for entry cards, which will be issued on first-come-first-served basis. The last date for receipt of requests is Dec. 1. Children below 12 years will not be allowed.

In Jeddah, the Consulate General has set up a special page on its website www.cgijeddah.com providing a list of applicants who can collect their invitation cards from Nov. 29 to Dec. 1, from 5.15 p.m. to 7.15 p.m.
