RIYADH, 30 November 2004 — Fonoon Al-Jazirah Company is getting ready to release a new album of the late Talal Maddah, one of the best singers from Saudi Arabia who died in August 2000.
The new album will include 11 of his old songs but with new music. The late Talal Maddah recorded these songs before he died.
All the songs are written by famous Saudi poets like Prince Badr ibn Abdul Muhsen, Prince Muhammad Al-Abdullah Al-Faisal, Ahmad Kendeel and Muhammad Al-Idreesi.
The company also intends to release a new album of the late Tunisian singer Zikra and of the Saudi singer Rashed Al-Majed by the end of December.
