CAIRO, 1 December 2004 — The 13th Arab Music Festival in Cairo honored Saudi singer Abdu-Rab Idrees, along with Tunisian singer Lutfi Bushnaq and composer Muhammad Ali Sulaiman in a celebration that took place in the packed Egyptian opera house, Al-Watan reported. Egypt’s Minister of Culture Farooq Husni attended the festival.
Singers from many Arab countries participated in this festival including, Fuad Zabadi and Karema Al-Sakli from Morocco, Eman Baki and Safwan Bahlul from Syria, Muhammad Al-Jabali from Tunisia and Ali Al-Hajjar, Amal Taher and Medhat Saleh from Egypt.
