JEDDAH, 5 December 2004 — A mentally ill patient escaped in a story book way by tying bedsheets together and used it as a rope to escape from the third floor of a hospital, Okaz reported. He went home and visited his family for lunch before willingly returning to the hospital through the front door. Security guards were shocked to see him walking calmly through the main entrance, wearing a patient’s uniform. The hospital administration took the incident seriously and informed police, who are investigating.
