MUSCAT, 5 December 2004 — Oman and South Africa are to sign a series of agreements to boost bilateral cooperation, especially in the economic field, the South African ambassador told AFP Saturday.
“Oman and South Africa are all set to ink four agreements over the next few months”, said Yacoob Abba Omar, adding this was decided during the four-day visit to Oman by South African Foreign Minister Nkosazana Diamini Zuma, which ended on Friday night.
“There is a big scope for widening the base of cooperation and both sides are equally keen to fill the gap in an era of globalization.”
