TAIF, 9 May 2005 — International Indian School, Taif (IIST) held a function recently to felicitate its outstanding rank holders in the test of English language (TOEL) 2005. The test is conducted annually at the global level by the Bright Career Academy of India on the pattern of TOEFL. Saleha Nashit of class 10 was the proud recipient of the gold medal holding ninth position at the TOEL 2005. Seven other students of IIST also scored grade-O (outstanding performance) and were presented with medals and certificates by Hifzur Rahman, consul (press, information and administration). Later, the managing committee members of the school selected the following office-bearers in the presence of Rahman: Dr. Ali Affan, chairman; Dr. Abdul Ghaffar, in charge, academic affairs; and Dr. Abdur Rahman, in charge, finance. The committee takes charge today.
