BEIRUT, 10 May 2005 — Lebanese singer Nicole Saba has made a final decision to relocate her life and all of her entertainment activity to Cairo. The singer has bought an apartment in Al Maadi district and plans on living there with her mother.
Nicole noted that she will keep visiting Beirut from time to time, but felt living in Egypt is more appropriate for her career. She added that most of her recording takes place in Cairo along with all her acting jobs in Egyptian movies.
The singer has already begun preparations for her forthcoming album, which is scheduled for release during the summer season. Nicole has so far chose five songs for the album which she stresses will present her in a completely different style from her previous works.
Saba is also scheduled to head to the Italian capital Rome in order to shoot her forthcoming music video “Ifhamouni” (Understand Me), in which she will be working with an all Lebanese crew. The singer stressed that she felt Italy was the perfect location for the clip and is hopeful it will meet the satisfaction of her fans.
