CAIRO, 10 May 2005 — After endless reflection, young Egyptian actress Hanan Turk has finally agreed to accept the leading role in the new movie “Mathaher Hub” alongside Fathi Abdul Wahab and Khaled Abu A-Najja. In the film, Hanan will play the role of a critically ill girl who discovers the amount of love her family and friends feel for her after discovering how severe her condition is.
Throughout the film, Hanan goes through several obstacles but is miraculously cured of her illness at the end. The actress recently completed shooting the final scenes of her new film “Kalam Fil Hub” (Love Talk) alongside prominent Egyptian actress Yusra.
Hanan is also in the process of preparing for her impending film about the life of Palestinian martyr Wafa Al Idreesi.
The film will be directed by Mohammad Abu Yousef and is written by Mohammad Salmawi.
The actress predicts that the film will signify an important factor in her cinematic career, especially if she portrays a believable image of Wafa, who symbolizes true faith and courage.
