Nortel Networks Middle East has kicked off a region-wide roadshow that highlights the importance of IP telephony and the significant business impact that IT telephony solutions and technologies will have on SMB and enterprise organizations in the Middle East. The half-day event already took place in Jeddah and Riyadh and will visit Alkhobar, Dubai and Doha on May 17, 23 and 25 respectively.

“IP Telephony is making some serious claims in the market in regards to the benefits it can provide to organizations today, including lower business costs, increased employee productivity, improved customer service and greater profitability. However, what does this all really mean? The IP Telephony roadshow will give us the opportunity to share our experiences in transforming enterprise communications and offer a compelling case on why organizations should be considering IT telephony as a way of moving forwards,” said Ramin Attari, VP, Middle East, Nortel Networks.

“By converging multiple voice and data networks into one, Nortel’s IP solutions can position enterprises to lower deployment and operating costs by as much as 50 percent, while simplifying administration and management of sophisticated networks,” Attari added. “Converged networks offer enterprises the ability to deploy a fully-functional communications infrastructure that is less expensive to deploy, operate and maintain, and lays the groundwork for next generation applications.”
