AHSA, 26 May 2005 — A mute woman in her 20s tried to commit suicide by drinking cleaning liquid, Al-Madinah paper reported. The woman accused her husband of threatening to marry another woman. Though she is mute, her husband had accused her of talking too much and never listening to him. She accuses him of extreme selfishness, saying that he would not spend money on her and he turns off the air-conditioners in the summer to save on the electric bill.
