JEDDAH, 30 May 2005 — All 12 students of Al Wurood International School who sat for the CBSE Grade 10 exam in March have passed here.
In Riyadh, all 18 students of Al Yasmin International School passed with nine distinctions and 12 first class. Al Yasmin Principal M.C. Sebastian congratulated the staff abd students on their performance and thanked the parents for their support.
Among the 12 Al Wurood students who passed, five scored above 75 percent (distinction), five secured first class and two got second class. Mohamed Shoaib Shirazi topped in science, math, and social science, scoring 100 percent, 95 percent, and 94 percent respectively.
He, Mouda Nadia Noor and Abil Ansari came first, second and third in the school, scoring respectively 453, 409 and 400 out of 500. Subjectwise scorers were Nadia Noor 95 percent in Urdu, Nijad Ashraf 87 percent in Arabic and Aju Joy 84 percent in Malayalam, according to school Principal Dr. Mohammed Aejaz.
