JEDDAH, 6 June 2005 — Recreation & Leisure Fair (RALF) is debuting at Jeddah International Exhibition & Convention Center from June 15-20. “RALF will herald this year’s Jeddah Summer Festival,” the spokesman for Al-Harithy Company for Exhibitions Ltd. said yesterday. “It enjoys the support of Presidency of Youth Welfare and its subordinate sectors including Saudi Olympic Committee and local sports organizations, as well as Supreme Commission for Tourism.” RALF is aimed to focus exclusively on the Kingdom’s domestic tourism and highlight the importance of recreation, sports, leisure and other interrelated activities. The event also focuses on public and private endeavors targeting promotion of national tourism. “It’s giving great attention to the Kingdom’s cultural heritage and tradition, natural resources and historical sites,” he added.
