DAMMAM, 6 June 2005 — A fisherman who was fishing at his favorite spot at Dammam Corniche found that a wrong line could land him not fish, but trouble. The fisherman, who according to Al-Hayat newspaper, had just thrown his line when he felt the hook sinking into a catch. Thinking that he had landed a big fish, he started reeling in the line only to find, to his dismay, the hook had caught the leg of a child swimming nearby. The child, crying in pain, had to be transported to a nearby hospital where he underwent surgery to take the hook out.
