JEDDAH, 7 June 2005 — Saudi Arabia yesterday denounced a report carried by Iranian daily Siyasat-e-Ruz alleging that the Kingdom had tortured a number of Christian prisoners.
"These accusations are totally false as they contradict the principles and ethics followed by the Kingdom," said an official source at the Foreign Ministry.
He emphasized the Kingdom's efforts to protect the rights of expatriate workers irrespective of their faith.
