TRUBA, 9 June 2005 — A number of students who did not study for their exams came up with a new way to get them canceled, Al-Madinah newspaper reported. The secondary school students stole a number of tires a day before the test. In the morning they burned the tires and the wind carried the smoke into the school. This created panic and confusion among students who thought there was a fire in school; some students refused to do the test, saying that smoke was covering the school and affecting their breathing. Police arrested the students responsible for the fire and the exam went on.
