JEDDAH, 13 June 2005 — A private hospital in Jeddah was the scene of a strange incident — a fight over their inheritance between five brothers whose father was in the intensive care unit, Al-Watan newspaper reported. Police arrested three of the brothers and two were sent to the hospital for treatment. The fight began when the eldest brother insisted on taking the lion’s share of the inheritance. Once the police had dealt with the fight, the brothers discovered that their father had died. Another fight then started over who would take the body for burial.
